Shipping policy

Orders are processed and shipped on regular business days (Monday-Friday). Our goal is process and ship within one regular business day. Orders received after 5 p.m. (Eastern Time) are considered part of the next regular business day's orders. (i.e., An order placed at 6 p.m. on Monday will be considered a Tuesday order with a goal of shipping it by Wednesday.)

We ship orders within the United States of America only. We are unable to ship internationally at this time.

Packages are shipped via the United States Postal Service (USPS) and United Parcel Service (UPS). All available rates and shipping methods will be listed at checkout. Customers may choose and pay the fee for the shipping method they prefer.

Flat Creek Fabric will choose the shipping method it prefers when customers choose a Flat Rate Standard Domestic shipping option based on order total prior to taxes and shipping:

  • $3.99 Flat Rate Standard Domestic Shipping for orders totaling up to $24.99
  • $4.99 Flat Rate Standard Domestic Shipping for orders totaling $25.00 - $49.99
  • Free Standard Domestic Shipping for orders of $50 or more

The shipping method for these options is generally USPS First Class, USPS Priority Mail, or UPS Ground, but the choice of shipping method is made by Flat Creek Fabric at the time of shipment.

Customers who want to choose a specific shipping service will need to select that option at checkout and pay the corresponding fee.

Customers desiring expedited shipping may choose from and pay for the available express shipping option they prefer at checkout. Please note that orders are still fulfilled within usual order fulfillment timelines regardless of the shipping method chosen. In addition, we are not responsible for shipping delays within USPS or UPS once they have accepted your package from us. 

Tracking numbers are provided for all orders. Customers will receive shipping and delivery confirmation emails. If you receive a delivery confirmation email and your package has not arrived, please notify us immediately. 

If a package is not received and the tracking number is not marked as delivered, the customer’s order will be filled and shipped again after an appropriate amount of time has passed. If we cannot fulfill the order again based on current store inventory, the customer’s order will be canceled and refunded.

If the "lost" package eventually arrives, the customer should contact us to let us know it arrived. Flat Creek Fabric will contact the customer if they receive word that the "lost" package was delivered. The customer will be able to choose to pay for and keep the items in the initial package or return the complete order to Flat Creek Fabric (a pre-paid return shipping label will be provided).
